MMRDA holds key meeting to fast-track innovation city in MMR (Pic/Special arrangement)

The vision laid out at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026 at Davos is now gaining traction on the ground. As per the official statement, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority convened a high-level meeting to accelerate the proposed ‘Innovation City’ project in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).

The meeting on Thursday was chaired by Metropolitan Commissioner Dr Sanjay Mukherjee, which focused on translating the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed earlier this year into a structured implementation roadmap.
