The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) Undertaking has announced a major overhaul of its bus network across Mumbai, introducing new routes, modifying several existing ones, and converting select air-conditioned (AC) services into regular buses. The new schedule will take effect from Saturday.

According to BEST officials, the reorganisation aims to enhance inter-suburban connectivity, ease congestion at bus depots, and provide smoother travel options between major residential and commercial areas.
