The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Monday demolished a bungalow in Madh area of Mumbai which was allegedly constructed using a forged map within the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) limits, the officials said.
According to a BMC official, the bungalow, named ‘Preet’, located in the Erangal village area of Madh, was found to have been illegally constructed. The structure, spanning approximately 1,500 square feet, was built on the basis of a fake map.
