CISF announces Cyclathon 2026, will cover 6,553 kms along India’s coastline

The western coast team is expected to arrive in Mumbai by February 11. The cyclists will travel from Vasai-Virar to the Gateway of India, where cultural programmes will be organised. The team will then continue its journey further south via Alibag, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg before proceeding towards Goa

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has announced the launch of the second edition of its Coastal Cyclathon in 2026, aimed at strengthening coastal security awareness across India, an official statement said.

The nationwide initiative carries the theme “Vande Mataram” and focuses on directly involving grassroots stakeholders, particularly local communities living along India’s coastal peninsula.
