Maharashtra Chief Minister (CM) Devendra Fadnavis, while hailing India’s development on the occasion of Republic Day 2026, said that the country is moving fast on the strength of its Constitution, news agency PTI reported. Fadnavis also added that the democratic values of the nation are on track to become the world's third-largest economy.
Speaking at the main Republic Day 2026 function at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Ground in Dadar, Fadnavis said that Maharashtra signed investment agreements worth Rs 30 lakh crore at the recent World Economic Forum in Davos, which will make the state even stronger as a key driver of India's economy.
