Mumbai: Fire breaks out at high-rise building in Kanjurmarg; no injury reported

The fire, confined to the electric duct between the 16th and 18th floors of the 20-storey building, was declared a Level-1 incident

A fire broke out on Sunday morning at the N G Royal Park Building, which is located near Gandhi Market on R Deshmukh Marg in Kanjurmarg East, officials from the  Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) said. 

The fire, which was reported at 11.40 am, was confined to the electric duct between the 16th and 18th floors of the 20-storey building. The MFB declared it a Level-1 incident at 12.10 pm, according to officials. 

Along with three fire engines, one fire tender, two jumbo tankers, one breathing apparatus van, one high-rise firefighting vehicle (HRFFV), one turntable ladder (TTL), one quick response vehicle (QRV), and three ambulances from the 108 emergency response service were deployed to the site for the firefighting operation.
