Mumbai: Helmet saves youth after pothole fall under cement truck

Law student’s bike skids on Andheri flyover pothole but he escapes with his life after cement mixer behind him crushes safety headgear instead

A 21-year-old law student, Mohamad Sahal Payak, had a brush with death after his bike skidded due to a pothole on the Western Express Highway’s Andheri flyover around 4 pm on Sunday. While Pahak’s helmet ended up getting crushed by a cement mixer truck, the youth sustained head and hand injuries and is receiving treatment at Nanavati Hospital in Vile Parle.
