A 50-year-old man was arrested by Azad Maidan police for allegedly making a threat call, stating that a major incident would happen at Prime Minister Narendra Modi`s rally in Shivaji Park on Friday. The accused, identified as Kannappa Reddy, is a resident of Amboli in Andheri West. According to the police, Reddy saw the news about the upcoming rally of PM Modi and made a hoax call.
On Friday evening, PM Narendra Modi held a rally at Shivaji Park in Dadar, where he delivered a speech of around 40 minutes at a public meeting. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, Ajit Pawar, and MNS Chief Raj Thackeray were present at the rally as part of the Mahayuti Alliance.
