<p>Peak-hour services on <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/maharashtra-mumbai-metro-line-9-to-begin-trial-runs-between-kashigaon-to-dahisar-east-from-may-14-check-details-23541896" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Mumbai Metro-1 (Blue Line) </a>were disrupted on Monday evening due to a technical snag in one of the trains.</p>
<p>"There were winding queues at <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/mumbai-fire-breaks-out-at-andheri-industrial-estate-no-injuries-reported-23534120" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Marol </a>station, which led to a chaotic situation. The trains are already crowded with only four coaches, and such problems cause the crowds to burst at their seams," said Dhaval Shah of Lokhandwala Oshiwara Citizens' Association (LOCA).</p>
<p>"I was at the station and it was so crowded that I did not realise where the queue started. It was very difficult," said another commuter.</p>
<p>Mumbai Metro-1 officials confirmed the development.&nbsp;</p>
<p>"A technical issue in one of the trains at <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/mumbai-28-year-old-man-dies-while-rescuing-8-year-old-girl-from-nullah-in-ramabai-nagar-area-of-ghatkopar-23547196" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Ghatkopar</a>, resulted in overall service delay.
