Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) on Friday said that a part of the Eastern Freeway shall be temporarily closed for traffic.

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) on Friday said that a part of the Eastern Freeway shall be temporarily closed for traffic. The closure has been undertaken for the construction of a metro station which will fall on the Wadala-Kasarvadavli metro line.
According to the MMRDA`s media statement, the closure will begin from near Kurla Signal towards Sion. The affected stretch, they stated, is from Kurla Signal (Anna Bhau Sathe Chowk) to Suman Nagar junction.
