Mumbai rains: IMD issues alerts in parts of Maharashtra as monsoon arrive early

With intense Mumbai rains already marking their way in the Maharashtra region during the May, IMD has recently issued a warning. They said that there are high chance of Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra can experience moderate to heavy rain showers in next few days

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued alerts for several areas in Maharashtra. The Southwest Monsoon has officially made its way to Kerala earlier than usual. The entry of the monsoon in Kerala a few days early also signifies that parts of Maharashtra and Mumbai region, including the Mumbai region, should expect heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and strong winds in the coming days.

With intense pre-monsoon showers already marking their way in the Maharashtra region during the May, IMD has recently issued a warning. The Indian Meteorological Department said that the monsoon has hit Kerala on Saturday, and it is expected to reach Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra very soon.
