Maharashtra records 48,401 new cases and 572 fatalities, discharges 60,226 patients

Mumbai saw a drop in Covid-19 cases for the third consecutive day on Sunday, when it recorded 2,403 new cases and 68 deaths. The doubling rate improved to 153 days. The city’s recovery rate has marginally improved and is 91 per cent. On Sunday, the city saw 3,375 discharges.
