<p>On Wednesday, the academician, social activist Hari Narke (60) died following a <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/lifestyle/health-and-fitness/article/deadly-heart-attacks-are-13-per-cent-more-likely-on-a-monday-says-study-23290707" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">heart attack</a>.</p>
<p>According to his family sources, Narke breathed his last at a private hospital around 10 am.</p>
<p>"His mortal remains were taken to <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/pune-all" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Pune</a> for cremation," the sources told PTI.</p>
<p>Hari Narke had authored books on social reformer Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and the chief architect of the Indian Constitution Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar.</p>
<p>Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis condoled his demise, saying it was a loss to the progressive movement in the state.</p>
