Traffic advisory: Dadar's Tilak Bridge closed for heavy vehicles in August

To ensure smooth traffic flow, diversion routes have been planned. Heavy vehicles approaching from the southbound direction on Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Road towards Tilak Bridge must take a right turn at Sion Hospital Junction, continue on Sulochana Shetty Marg, then take a left at Kumbharwada Junction

To reduce daily congestion and facilitate emergency vehicle access, the Matunga Traffic Division has announced that Mumbai's Tilak Bridge in Dadar (East) will remain closed to heavy vehicles throughout August.

The restriction will be in effect from 12.01 am on Saturday to 11.55 pm on August 31. During this period, all heavy vehicles will be prohibited from using the bridge.
