Navi Mumbai to host Maharashtra’s first Formula Street Race

Maharashtra is all set for a motorsport milestone as Navi Mumbai prepares to host the state’s first-ever nighttime Formula street race. The announcement came after Racing Promotions Pvt. Ltd. (RPPL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

The grand finale of the Indian Racing Festival (IRF) is scheduled for December 2025, featuring a 3.753 km FIA-grade street circuit in Navi Mumbai with 14 challenging turns. For the first time, the city’s streets will transform into a floodlit high-speed racing arena, marking Mumbai’s debut on the global street racing map.
