Kalachowkie cops register 20 FIRS in connection with thefts of mobile phones, gold chains; detain 11 suspects

The Kalachowkie police have registered 20 FIRs since Saturday after receiving complaints from devotees about valuables, including gold chains and mobile phones, being stolen during the Lalbaugcha Raja visarjan.

Most victims stated that they were targeted near the Lalbaugcha Raja Mandal in Lalbaug, where a large crowd had gathered for darshan. The cops have detained 11 suspects so far. Devotees stated that if the police fail to recover valuables, then the Lalbaugcha Raja Mandal should compensate them.
