Mumbai's CSMT platform 18 to remain closed for 80 days from October 1

The 80-day block is required to carry out foundational work and construct safety barricades on the platform. During this period, all train operations from platform number 18 will remain suspended until the work is completed and the platform is handed back for traffic use

Central Railway will impose a traffic and power block at platform number 18 of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) from October 1 to December 19, as part of ongoing redevelopment work at the terminus being undertaken by the Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA).

The 80-day block is required to carry out foundational work and construct safety barricades on the platform. During this period, all train operations from platform 18 will remain suspended until the work is completed and the platform is handed back for traffic use.
