Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a spectacular roadshow in Mumbai on Wednesday evening, bringing massive crowds to campaign for BJP and allied candidates ahead of the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. Thousands of passionate supporters lined the route to greet him.
The roadshow preceded polling in six Lok Sabha constituencies in Mumbai and seven others throughout Maharashtra on May 20, which marked the end of the state`s fifth phase of elections. The event began at Ashok Silk Mills in Ghatkopar (West), North East Mumbai, at around 7 p.m. and lasted over an hour, ending at Parshawanath Chowk in Ghatkopar (East), reported PTI.
