Collapse injured a 61-year-old who was crossing lane on his scooter, society did not put safety nets, did it restrict access as parapet underwent repairs

The collapse happened on June 17 when Khushrow Boyce was returning from Dadyseth bungalow
The civic body is going to issue a show-cause notice to the Grand Paradi building at Kemps Corner after a part of its parapet collapsed on a 61-year-old man and broke his ribs. The seriously injured man is being treated for a hand fracture and broken ribs. On the other hand, a resident has sent a legal notice to the society over the incident and serious lapses in security.
On June 17, when Khushrow Boyce was crossing the lane next to Grand Paradi on his scooter, a part of the parapet which was under repair fell on him. Boyce is left with his ribs broken and a hand fractured, while his scooter was completely crushed. He has been admitted to Breach Candy hospital.
