The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with enthusiasm across all schools run by the Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) on Monday, with a series of patriotic programmes, including large-scale synchronised drills set to patriotic music.

According to a circular issued by the KDMC Education Department earlier, the celebrations were held in 524 schools within the municipal limits, covering KDMC schools as well as institutions of all mediums and managements. Students participated in coordinated musical drills, delivered speeches, and performed group patriotic songs as part of the programme.
