Sanjay Raut alleged that Eknath Shinde, during a meeting with Amit Shah, complained about CM Fadnavis and offered to merge Shiv Sena with the BJP to secure the chief minister’s post. Raut said Shinde opposed Marathi unity efforts and is desperate to lead Maharashtra. Shiv Sena (UBT) has dismissed Raut's claims as baseless and habitual.

Amid the chaotic political scenario in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Friday took a jibe at Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Sanjay Raut slammed Eknath Shinde over his latest visit to Delhi, saying that he was so desperate to become the CM that he has offered to merge the Shiv Sena with the BJP.
As reported by PTI, Sanjay Raut claimed that Shinde complained about Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis during his recent meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi.
Replying to Sanjay Raut’s statement, Shiv Sena spokesperson Sheetal Mhatre hit out at the MP, saying he has a habit of making such remarks and that his party members don't take him seriously.
