Leaders and workers of the Mumbai Youth Congress staged a protest at Marine Drive on Monday, demanding a thorough Special Investigation Team (SIT) inquiry into the alleged suicide of a woman doctor in Phaltan taluka of Satara district in Maharashtra.

According to police, over 200 protestors were intercepted and detained while marching towards Varsha, the official residence of the Maharashtra Chief Minister.
