The Shiv Sena (UBT) has raised concerns over time management, logistics, infrastructure, and operational feasibility in implementing the proposed ‘One Nation, One Election’ policy across the country.
Citing that during state elections, Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and security personnel are often brought to Maharashtra from other states to ensure smooth polling, the party questioned how the Union government plans to manage the increased demand for these resources if simultaneous elections are held nationwide.
