Water supply to be disrupted in Uthalsar and Naupada areas of Thane on Nov 10

According to the Thane civic body, the main 600 mm-diameter pipeline supplying water to the Kolbad area will be affected by this work and needs to be relocated. The shifting of this pipeline will be carried out on November 10 from 9 am for a 24-hour period

The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has announced that water supply will remain suspended for 24 hours in parts of Uthalsar and Naupada wards on November 10 owing to the ongoing construction work of a new water tank at the Siddheshwar water reservoir.

According to the Thane civic body, the main 600 mm-diameter pipeline supplying water to the Kolbad area will be affected by this work and needs to be relocated. The shifting of this pipeline will be carried out on November 10 from 9 am for a 24-hour period. During this period, water supply in several areas will be completely shut.
