A case has been filed against unnamed individuals for the suspected murder of a 17-year-old girl in Thane, Maharashtra. Tejaswini Manoj Razak was found dead in a chawl in Taricha Pada, Kolshet, on the night of May 24, police said on Tuesday.

A post-mortem found ligature signs and stab wounds on the girl`s neck, prompting the police to file a case under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code on Monday, reported PTI.
