According to a fire official, a caller informed the fire brigade control room that two persons reportedly jumped into the Mahim Creek at around 11.30 am. One of them is a Bandra resident

Two persons jumped into Mumbai`s Mahim Creek on Tuesday morning. After receiving a call over the incident, the police and Mumbai Fire Brigade immediately launched a search-and-rescue operation, news agency PTI reported, quoting officials.
One of the fire officials, while speaking about the incident, said, “A caller informed the fire brigade control room that two persons reportedly jumped into the Mahim Creek at around 11.30 am. The caller further highlighted that one of them has been identified as Kalandar Altaf Khan, a resident of the Bandra Lalmatti area."
