Senior Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC launched a sharp attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over her protest against the Election Commission`s (EC) transfer of senior officials, calling it "manufactured outrage" and alleging that it was part of a larger "conspiracy to retain power with the help of infiltrators."

Speaking to ANI on Tuesday, Shaina NC said, "The Election Commission is only doing its job... What Mamata Banerjee has chosen is a manufactured outrage where she has chosen to talk about her government staff being hired, raising unsubstantiated claims, and it is amply clear that this is a conspiracy to seize power via infiltrators... Whenever you raise an allegation, proof is required..."
