Mumbai Traffic Police had imposed special traffic restrictions and diversions in the Dadar area to manage the heavy footfall and ensure smooth movement during the programme

According to the traffic notification, vehicle movement on several roads around Shivaji Park were restricted to ensure smooth crowd movement and public safety

Vehicular movement from Siddhivinayak Junction towards Swatantryaveer Savarkar Road near Yes Bank was also restricted

Traffic police had advised motorists to use alternate routes to avoid congestion in the Dadar area

Police officials urged citizens to avoid unnecessary travel near Shivaji Park during the evening hours and cooperate with traffic personnel deployed in the area

The officials had earlier stated that the authorities were expecting a large turnout for the event, which was to feature a drone-based visual programme

The event was widely appreciated by citizens

Many attendees described the event as one of the most visually spectacular Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations held in the city in recent years
