A major fire erupted in huts near the gate of Mumbai`s iconic Film City in Goregaon on Thursday evening, civic officials said. No injuries have been reported in the incident so far (PICS/ANURAG AHIRE)

At 7.50 pm, the Mumbai Fire Brigade declared it as a level-2 blaze (major)

So far, the blaze has been confined to the huts in the area, the Mumbai Fire Brigade said

Several shanties have been gutted in the blaze and firefighting personnel have engaged in the dousing operations
