The ten-day Ganeshotsav festival is underway with great enthusiasm across the country, and Mumbai is celebrating with special fervor. Devotees are visiting Ganpati temples and mandals in large numbers to seek blessings from their beloved deity. On the first day of Ganesh Chaturthi 2024, the famous Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal in Mumbai received a substantial donation of Rs 48,30,000. In addition, they were gifted 255.80 grams of gold and 5,024 grams of silver. This reflects the deep devotion and generosity of the people participating in the festival. The Lalbaugcha Raja Mandal, along with other popular mandals such as Chinchpokli Cha Chintamani, continues to attract large crowds. Many mandals showcased their Ganpati idols with grand processions on Ganesh Chaturthi, which began on September 7. The Lalbaugcha Raja Ganesh idol, a central attraction of the festival, draws thousands of worshippers who come to offer their prayers and seek blessings.
