Just before the second phase of polling in the Bihar Assembly elections 2025, various India-Nepal border points have been closed for 72 hours. The closure of entry-exit points is done ahead of the second phase of elections, which is scheduled for November 11.
Mahottari Assistant Chief District Officer Sanjay Kumar Pokhrel, while speaking to the media, said that "the election is scheduled to be held on 11 November in Bihar, India. From a security perspective, we have halted border crossings," as cited by news agency ANI.
