On Thursday, the Delhi Convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party Gopal Rai alleged that trapping Arvind Kejriwal in a "fake case," and putting him in jail is the move that has ensured BJP’s defeat in the national capital. The party held a Sankalp Sabha on Thursday under the "Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se" campaign in the Malviya Nagar Assembly of the New Delhi Lok Sabha constituency.

Rai said the moment results will be announced in June, good days will return for the citizens of the country and Modi will be thrown out of power. The BJP won the previous two Lok Sabha elections because the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party contested separately, which divided votes, he said, per PTI report.
