Union Minister Nitin Gadkari voiced profound concern regarding the persistent conflicts worldwide. He stated that the situation has become so severe that escalating tensions among nations could potentially precipitate a third world war in the near future.
Furthermore, the Union Minister emphasised that technological advancements in warfare have significantly transformed the "dimensions of war". He indicated that the current circumstances represent a critical issue requiring immediate global attention and deliberation, reported news agency ANI.
"There is an atmosphere of conflict around the world, between Israel and Iran, as well as the war between Russia and Ukraine. The situation is such that there is a possibility of a third world war anytime in the backdrop of these wars," said Nitin Gadkari while addressing a book launch event in Nagpur on Sunday.
