Amid rising concerns over Covid-19 cases, Karnataka Minister Dr Sharan Prakash Patil has instructed state-run medical colleges and hospitals as well as doctors and health workers to be prepared to handle a spike in Covid-19 positive cases, reported news agency ANI.
"There is no reason for the public to panic, as the government has taken all necessary precautionary measures," said Dr Sharan Prakash Patil, minister for medical education, skill development, livelihood, and Raichur district in-charge.
