After a wait of 45 years, the Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) finally got its permanent address on Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg on Monday. The five-storeyed, state-of-the-art building was unveiled by Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi in a function attended by BJP President JP Nadda, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Union Ministers, Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva, and other senior leaders and functionaries.

The Delhi BJP office will begin shifting from its current location at Pandit Pant Marg to the new building around Diwali, news agency PTI reported, quoting party leaders. Currently, BJP operates from a bungalow near Gurudwara Rakabganj in Lutyens’ Delhi.
