Three workers died following the collapse of a three-storey building near Sadbhavna Park in central Delhi’s Daryaganj on Wednesday, officials said on Wednesday, reported the PTI.

“Information regarding the incident was received at 12:14 pm, after which a police team, four fire engines, and rescue personnel were dispatched to the scene. The injured were transported to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital. Civic authorities, including the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), have been notified. Legal action will follow upon verification of facts,” a police officer stated, according to the PTI.

A Delhi Fire Services (DFS) official reported that the building collapsed without warning while construction activity was underway.
