Delhi Customs officials at IGI Airport have seized over 2.5 kg of suspected hydroponic weed from an Indian passenger arriving from Bangkok on Flight No. 6E-1054. The passenger, who had crossed the green channel, was stopped after X-ray screening revealed suspicious images in his baggage. Upon inspection, officials discovered ten packets of a green substance hidden in a false compartment at the bottom of the suitcase.
The packets, weighing a total of 2,542 grams (including packaging), were seized. The material has been sent for testing, and further investigation is underway under the NDPS Act, 1985.
