Union Minister of Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw on Saturday said that India has ramped up electronics production sixfold and is the second-largest mobile manufacturing country in the world.
Ashwini Vaishnaw, while taking it on X, said that the country has increased electronic exports eightfold over the past 11 years, mainly driven by policy support from the Production Linked Incentive Scheme.
