Prime Minister Narendra Modi has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the longest-serving head of an elected government in India. He has completed 8,931 days in office, surpassing former Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling, who held the record earlier of serving for 8,930 days.
This count includes Modi’s tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat as well as his time as Prime Minister of India, marking his entry into the 25th year in public office.
