IndiGo to start Delhi-Colombo flights from March 29 with six weekly services

With this addition, IndiGo will now operate more than 55 weekly flights to Colombo from five Indian cities — Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Delhi. The airline also maintains connectivity to Jaffna from Chennai and Tiruchirappalli with 10 weekly flights

IndiGo has announced the launch of new direct flights between Delhi and Colombo, further expanding its international network and strengthening connectivity with Sri Lanka. The new service will commence on March 29, 2026, with six flights operating weekly on this route using Airbus A320 aircraft.

The move is expected to provide more convenient travel options for passengers while enhancing tourism and trade between the two neighbouring countries.
