Security forces killed three terrorists in two separate counter-terror operations in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday. The encounters took place in the Udhampur and Kishtwar districts. The operations came just ahead of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to the region, prompting reactions from leaders across political parties.
BJP MLA Shagun Parihar praised the security forces and called the operations a major achievement. She said, "This is a huge achievement for our security forces. We are getting this good news on the occassion of the Union Home Minister`s visit. I congratulate the people of Jammu & Kashmir that these terrorists were neutralised," according to ANI.
