Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar and Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Saturday celebrated the 150th birth anniversary of tribal icon Birsa Munda and the silver jubilee of the state’s foundation day. The governor and the CM offered floral tributes at the statues of the tribal icon at Kokar and Birsa Chowk in Ranchi. They also visited Birsa Munda’s village in Ulihatu in Jharkhand’s Khunti district, where they offered floral tributes to the statue of the tribal hero.
