MP rains: Army called in for rescue and relief operations after floods

Heavy rainfall has caused widespread flooding across several districts in Madhya Pradesh. The Indian Army has been called in by the state authorities for rescue and relief operations, especially in Shivpuri district, officials said, reported the PTI.

So far, nearly 2,900 people have been rescued from multiple districts affected by the floods.
