Jalgaon hottest in state at 35.8 deg C; light rain reported in Marathwada

Jalgaon recorded the highest maximum temperature in the state at 35.8 degrees Celsius, followed by Solapur at 35.4 degrees Celsius and Jeur at 35.0 degrees Celsius

As February draws to a close, Maharashtra is witnessing hot, dry and sunny conditions, with a steady rise in temperatures and increasing dryness across several regions.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), most parts of the state recorded dry weather on Monday.
