Heat rises across state; Mumbai weather station records 38.7 degrees Celsius

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for hot and humid conditions in parts of Konkan, including Palghar, Thane, and Raigad. Day temperatures in Mumbai are expected to be around 35 degrees Celsius, with minimum temperatures near 23 degrees Celsius

Parts of Maharashtra recorded above normal daytime temperatures on Thursday, indicating the continuation of warm conditions across the state.

According to the latest weather bulletin issued by the IMD, several parts of the state including Mumbai were reeling in hot weather conditions as Santacruz observatory recorded 38.7 degrees Celsius.
