Cold conditions prevailed across several parts of Maharashtra on Monday, with minimum temperatures dropping sharply in interior regions. Ahilyanagar recorded the lowest minimum temperature in the state at 7.3 degrees Celsius, making it the coldest place in Maharashtra, according to weather observations.

Several cities in western and central Maharashtra experienced chilly mornings. Pune recorded a minimum temperature of 8.6 degrees Celsius, while Nashik registered 8.8 degrees Celsius. Jeur in Solapur district reported a low of 8.0 degrees Celsius, and Baramati recorded 9.3 degrees Celsius. Malegaon saw the mercury dip to 8.4 degrees Celsius.
