Two youths from Mathura will be honoured with the Samaritan Citizen Award for rescuing nearly 100 people injured in a major road accident on the Yamuna Expressway earlier this week.

The tragedy occurred around 4 am on Tuesday near Milestone 127 under the Baldev Police Station limits, when dense fog led to a pile-up involving several buses and cars. The collision triggered a massive fire, killing 19 people and injuring more than 50 others.
