Kshitij Singhal appointed as new Indore civic chief after water tragedy

Madhya Pradesh government has appointed 2014-batch IAS officer Kshitij Singhal as the new Indore Municipal Commissioner following deaths linked to contaminated water. The move comes amid suspensions, investigations and a large-scale survey of water quality in affected areas

The Chief Minister Mohan Yadav-led Madhya Pradesh government, on Saturday, appointed Kshitij Singhal, a 2014 batch IAS officer, as the new Commissioner of Indore Municipal Corporation days after several people lost their lives after drinking contaminated water.
