Seventy-eight Bangladeshi fishermen, apprehended by the Indian Coast Guard two days ago for fishing within Indian waters, are set to be repatriated as procedures to return them to their home country are currently underway, Odisha Police confirmed.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Paradip, Santosh Kumar Jena, informed ANI that the fishermen, after being handed over to the police by the Coast Guard, underwent a thorough verification process.
