The Odisha train accident resulted after coaches of the Bengaluru-Howrah train derailed at Bahanagabazar and collided with the Shalimar-Chennai Central Coromandel Express, causing its coaches to overturn. The goods train was also involved as the derailed coaches hit its wagons
